With the grace of Guru Baba Nanak Today a thousand
Sikhs are there at Kartarpur sahib

It is a historic moment in Sikh history. Today the
Sept. 22 is our lord's Joti jot purab. This day 466
years ago Baba merged himself with the Supreme Soul at
Kartarpur sahib.
It is after 58 long years that the Sikhs have gathered
in a thousand figure to commemorate the day.
Five jathas have reached at Kartarpur sahib:-
1. Jathedar Kuldip Singh Wadala's- Kartarpur Ravi
Darshan Abhilakhi Sanstha
2. S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawas MLA (Cong. I) Dera
Baba Nanak' Jatha
3. A Jatha from Delhi
4. Sikhs from overseas
5. Sikhs of Pakistan
S. Gurinder Singh Bajwa Vice President of Wadala's
Party in his press conference on Sept. 18 as carried
by Jag Bani and Punjabi Tribune had revealed that his
party would take up the issue of construction of road
from Kartarpur sahib to the Indian Border.
It may be noted that a link road from Narowal-
Shakkargarh Road has already been constructed by
Punjab Govt (Pakistan) while the Punjab Govt (india)
has constructed the road linking Dera Baba Nanak town
to Border to a point nearest to Kartarpur sahib.
The following is a new item that appeared in Pakistan
dailies of Sept. 20 and is available at the following
link.
