For 30 years now preaching of Sikhism is virtually nil. But a lot of negative one as our institutions have been taken over by Govt and RSS is indirectly controlling over them. SGPC the apex body which is now under control of RSS distributes bland literature in tons. Will you believe it has no biography tracts on Guru Nanak or Guru Gobind Singh what to talk of other Guru sahiban. Since we are engaged in the preaching of Kartarpur Corridor in melas the festivals, devotees often demand tract or low priced book on Guru Nanak or Guru Gobind Singh. We then simply hold our heads in shame to say 'No.' Will you believe the Gurbani Gutkas by SGPC are costlier than those in the market.

While Sikh institutions have been hijacked and the Sangat is entangled in langar there are individuals who do efforts in accordance with their means. Sarup Singh Alagh of Ludhiana is one such Sikh who has done preaching in these difficult times.
