Dear Mr. Goraya,
My name is Maria Jan and I am a Program Officer at the Institute for Multi-Track Diplomacy headed by Ambassador John McDonald. I am sending you an email from the Ambassador on his behalf. In addition I am attaching an email for Mr.
Kuldip Singh Wadala; unfortunately I have not been able to locate Mr. Wadala's email address and were wondering if you could kindly forward the attachment to him, it would be greatly appreciated. If an email address is not available I can fax him the letter. I look forward to your correspondence.

Most Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Goraya,

I want to thanks you for the two great articles and pictures that appeared on your website titled "press freedom" and "Ambassador Mcdonald visits Kartarpur region". They were fantastic and written by a great journalist, yourself.

If you have anymore recent write ups or information please email that information to me at jmcondald@imtd.org.

For your information I was told about a bridge on the border that was destroyed in the '64 war and asked to visit it. We were intentionally misdirected by CID agents and went in the opposite direction for half an hour and then gave up the search. Obviously we were not very welcomed.

I learned that the foreign minister visited the site on June 29 and promised a "feasibility study" for the corridor. I wanted you to know that we do not plan to wait for the government but are meeting with Sikh friends in Washington D.C. in order to rasie money to develop our own feasibility study which we can then give to both governments. Please let's keep in touch.

With Warm Regards.

Ambassador John McDonald
