Kartarpur [Ravi] Darshan Abhilakhi Sanstha
The Sanstha was formally constituted on March 30, 2001 at Jalandhar by
Jathedar Kuldip Singh Wadala. Jathedar Wadala is the president of Shromani
Akali Dal [Democratic] and an icon of the famous family of Akalis. Wadala's
grand father laid down his life for Panth agitating for the liberation of
Gurdwaras. Wadala is Ex General Secretary of the supreme Sikh council the
Shromani Gurdwara Prabandhik Committee, Amritsar. He has been very close to
Parkash Singh Badal the ex Chief Minister of Punjab. But the two parted
their ways on principles when Badal decided to dedicated his party to
Punjabiat while Wadala insisted on its retention of Sikh identity.
Wadala is the Prime Servant of the Sanstha.
