Sultanpur Lodhi and others

Sultanpur Lodhi is a significant place from Sikh point of view. Guru Nanak's sister Bebe Nanki was married to Jai Ram ji of this place. Guru's parents enthrusted Guruji services at the disposal of Jai Ramji. Jai Ramji arranged a job for young Guru Nanak at the provision store owned by the Nawab of Sultanpur Lodhi.

It was here at Sultanpur Lodhi that Guru ji composed the moolmantra the basis of Sikh Gurbani at the place now known as Santghat.

Well at the house of Bebe Nanaki. The original house of Bebeji could survive for many centuries but the Govt agents the kar sewa babas demolished it.
