The majestic court of Sixth Nanak : Guru Hargobind sahib |
About 50 kms is the village Khalra on indo-pak border. There lies a
gurdwara which commemorates the visit of Guru Nanak to this place.
Interestingly Baba Thakur Singh erstwhile head of Dam Dami taksal had
once laid down a foundation stone on already built shrine. Thakur used
to tell lie for 22 years that sant Bhinderanwale was alive |
FATE OF A TOUT
Majestic court of Guru Hargobind sahib ji where Chandu sahi is
being produced. V Nanak was martyred by emperor Jahangir due to
backbitings of Chandu. This painting is at display at village Sidhwan
near Khalra. Bhai Jetha the vallient saint solder of Guru produced
Chandu. Guru awarded Jetha with a rosary. |

15 km from Amritsar at village Mehma is the shrine dedicated to
martyr Didar Singh who laid down his life defending Sikhs along with
Baba Deep Singh Shaheed. |
